How much do our blinds cost?

Unfortunately, there is no standard window size as the buildings throughout UAE vary greatly. All of our blinds are made to measure, we cannot provide you with an accurate quote over the phone. When you book an appointment with us, an advisor will come to measure up and give you a quotation on the spot in your preferred style. 

How much deposit will I have to pay?

A deposit of 50% is required to process the order and the additional 50% is paid upon installation of the product.

What is Blindtex’s ‘Price Promise Guarantee’?

Like for like Blindtex will not be beaten on price. Meaning if you find the same blind, in the same size at the same specification and service, at a cheaper price we will beat this quotation. 




How can I request an appointment?

How long will I have to wait for an appointment?

We aim to have visited you within 3 working days. However, your appointments may vary depending on location and availability. 

How long will an appointment take?

This depends on the number of windows and your selection, however, usually should take no more than 60 minutes. If you need blinds for your whole villa, or only require one roller blind this will be much quicker.

Why do you give a two-hour appointment slot?

We aim to be as accurate as possible when giving you a time, however, due to travelling, finding parking, a difficult installation prior and various other unforeseen circumstances out of our control, our appointments may overrun and so our advisors aim to be with you between the given times.

Can I cancel my appointment?

Yes, you can cancel your appointment by calling our team on 04 564 8448. We do request you to inform us at the earliest. 

Will I get a reminder of the appointment?

Yes, you will receive an appointment confirmation email from us and the advisor will call you on the day before coming to your home. 

How much does the appointment cost?

All of our in-home design consultations are FREE!

Can I visit the showroom to finalise?

Yes, all of our orders get sent to our showroom where you can visit in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Cluster L to see the finished product and get some expert advice from our interior designer. 

Do you offer appointments past 6pm?

Yes, our teams are available up until 8pm daily. Our showroom opening hours are 10am – 8pm / 7 days per week.


  Fitting & Installation


After I’ve placed my deposit, how long until my blinds can be installed?

Your blinds will be ready usually 3 – 4 days after you have placed your order. Our advisors will schedule fitting with you on the day of your initial appointment. This does vary depending on the product as shutters are usually around 8 – 12 weeks. 

What do I need to do before the fitting?

Please ensure if required your building will allow our team to enter with the ladders and tools. Advise us if they need ID copies, trade license etc. prior. Ensure the window is completely clear so our team can get on with the installation, so we can be out of your way as quick as possible! If you have existing blinds or curtains, please ensure these are removed. 

How long will the fitting take?

If the team do not have any issues whilst installing, we usually say around 30 minutes per blind or 1 hour per curtain. Shutters may vary depending on style.

Will the same person come to install?

Yes, our sales advisors will look after you from the beginning to the end and also if you require any additional windows or aftercare. There may be exceptions when our advisor is ill, however, we will inform you prior.

Do you sell blackout blinds?

At Blindtex we have a wide variety of blackout fabrics for you to choose from. Also, all of our roman blinds and curtains come with the option of blackout lining. Ask our advisors to show you our ‘Blockout System’ if you are sensitive to light. 

Do you sell waterproof products?

We have multiple PVC fabrics available great for roller blinds. Also, our Faux Wood collection is great for bathrooms and damp areas. If you’re looking for something that oozes style, we offer Waterproof MDF+ shutters that are extremely hard wearing and robust. 

Are your blinds and curtains lined?

Yes, all of our roman blinds and curtains have either standard or blackout lining. This protects the fabric from the harsh sun in UAE and ensures that the fabric fades at a much slower rate. 

My windows open inward, what is the best option?

This is a problem that not only you will be facing! Here at Blindtex, we have a solution, ‘Perfect Fit’, these blinds are in a discrete frame that slot behind just between the beading and glass of your window using no screws! This means when you open and close your window, your blind becomes neatly part of that motion. 

Do you have home automation?

All of our motorised products have the option to be integrated with your home automation system. These can either be wired into your mains or battery operated. We use Somfy motors offering 5 years genuine Somfy warranty and we do the configuration for FREE! 

Are your blinds safe for my children?

Yes, as we distribute to the UK market all of our products must meet British Child Safety regulations or be manufactured ‘Safe By Design’. Which means all of our blinds with a chain will be 1.5m from the floor and come with a safety cleat or will be manufactured to break apart when pressure is applied to the chords. Read more here
